The following year PBG exhibited nationally and was a Platinum sponsor at the 2007 Special Event Show (TSE) in Los Angeles for Diva Bling with Charles Banfield. PBG’s products were also featured at David Tuttera’s breakfast event at the 2007 American Rental Association (ARA) tradeshow in Atlanta.
Recognizing the need and demand in the event industry for new ideas, Gilad began designing and fabricating his own collections of illuminated furniture including dinner tables, high boys, cocktail tables, bars, and coffee tables all incorporating LEDecor wirelesslighting. PBG Events quickly became well known for its creative event lighting, illuminated event furniture and illuminated event décor. At the 2007 BIZBash Event Style Awards PBG was runner up for Best Event Lighting Design for the Ghost Collection dinner table featured at Calvin Klein’s Euphoria Cologne product launch at Top of the Rock. At the 2008 BIZBash Event Style Awards PBG won Best New Product of the Year for the Illuminated Ice Collection Table and was runner up for its Glow Globes.
The following year Gilad developed two new products: Illuminated Linens and Illuminated Building Blocks. Illuminated Linens are made of fiber optics interwoven with material, which are lit by battery-operated LED's. Illuminated Building Blocks are manufactured from durable molded plastic in various sizes and shapes inspired by children's building blocks. These revolutionary products were showcased live on Lifetime TV's "Get Married" with Colin Cowie.
Gilad was further recognized in the event industry and was a finalist for the 2011 Event Solutions Magazine Spotlight Award for Rising Star in Las Vegas. In that same year he celebrated PBG Event Productions & Rentals fifth anniversary.
Today Gilad is launching an innovative revolutionary do-it-yourself website for his party rental company called Design Your Event. DesignYourEvent.net is an interactive site that allows the user to pick and choose their table set design with choices for linens, chairs, cushions, napkins, charger plates, and flower colors.
